RE:Sleep & nightmares
Sleep ... for PTSD, TBI and general well being. IT IS THE MOST CRITICAL ELEMENT.

- Exercise and hour a day will help. I am guilty of not following my own advice
- Avoid triggers and stimuli that would casue agitation and flashbacks
- Take your meds for me it is prazozin and temazepam.
- keep a nightly routine ( I know it is hard with a family sometime)
- avoid caffine
- don't eat late... ( it is true late night digestion causes nightmares)
- find an activity that slows you down and aids you getting drowsy.. reading for me helps. If I really want to sleep I read medical articles.

Hope that helps
