Region IV

Region IV - Serving Central Virginia

Region IV proudly serves Virginia veterans of any era, members of the National Guard and Reserve not in active federal service and all family members through a regional-wide delivery and response system utilizing community services boards (CSB), non-profit, public and private and other community providers for linkages to behavioral health, rehabilitative and support services.

Region IV provides comprehensive assessment of individual and family needs; direct linkages to needed services including behavioral healthcare, veterans benefits, homeless and housing services, employment and other public and private assistance programs. Region IV also offers peer and family support groups, resilience-focused training and workshops for couples and families.

 

Services Offered

Through a regional consortia of community service boards (CSB), brain injury services providers and other public and private services providers Region IV of the VWWP offers the following (examples of) services (available) to veterans and their families in Central Virginia:

• Assessment of individual and family needs and direct provision of needed services available through the CSBs’ outpatient treatment programs.
• Linkages to veterans benefits services, transportation sources, housing and employment assistance programs, and financial assistance.
• Veterans networking, peer support groups, and family support groups throughout Central Virginia.
