Bereaved Parents Awareness Month

Image of Bereaved Parents Awareness Month BannerSince the start of the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan, more than 13,440 parents have lost a child. Often it is hard to know what to do to support parents who have lost their son or daughter in military service.

The month of July is designated as Bereaved Parents Awareness Month, a time to acknowledge their loss and sacrifice. Below are some resources which may help these parents and those who support them.
