VWWP Region IV supported the Military Child Appreciation Month Field Day event on Friday April 13th at the Child and Youth Services Building on Fort Lee, Petersburg VA. Region IV representatives (pictured from left Brandi Jancaitis, Kerri Gerke, and Ben Kiernan) provided children in attendance (~150) with fun giveaways and spoke to parents about upcoming family initiatives in Region IV such as the family retreat and peer support groups. Region IV representatives were also accompanied by the VWWP dragster car where kids of all ages (including the adult kids in uniform!) could learn about the car’s unique qualities from its driver/owner Mike Daily.
