We do not anticipate that this survey will cause you any distress, but should you become upset and wish to speak with a counselor, you can contact the University Counseling Services, Monroe Park Campus at 804-828-6200, located in the University Student Commons, Rm 238, 907 Floyd Ave. Or the VCU Medical Center Campus, Grant House, B011, 1008 East Clay St. (804) 828-3964. In the rare instance that you should need a suicide intervention, the national suicide prevention and crisis hotline phone number is 1-800-273-TALK (8255).

If you are not a student at VCU, you will not be able to use the university counseling services. You can access services through your local mental health agency and the national suicide intervention hotline listed above.

If you would like information on the results of our survey, please let us know. Or if you would like to be involved in a focus group to be held in Richmond, Virginia to gather additional information, please let us know. Thank you for your time!
